The Onyx-Rochester Ice Arena has served as the home to many hockey leagues and skating academies, including the Rochester Hockey Club, Onyx Learn to Skate Program, Onyx-Suburban Skating Academy and Adult Hockey Leagues. The Onyx is also the home arena for the Rochester United and Stoney Creek varsity high school teams, several high school “club hockey” teams and the men’s Oakland University Golden Grizzlies.
